Today’s sunrise photos are from May 23. Usually, when I take the first picture of a sunrise, it’s taken from just inside the door going out on our deck. That’s because I’m still barefoot and in my pj’s.
So that darkness in the lower part of the photo is our yard. Sometimes I forget to zoom in for the first shot.
By the time I take the second photo, I may be awake enough to slip on my flip-flops and step out on the deck. Or, at least remember to zoom in on the actual sunrise.
I’ve mentioned before how quickly the sun rises (and sets).
According to the timer on the camera, these four pictures were taken within two minutes.
Two minutes. That isn’t much wake-up time, is it?

clever narrative for your pictures.
No that’s not much time BUT you work magic in those two minutes with that camera of yours!

I am always amazed at how quickly the sky changes! These are simply beautiful, Dianna! You do have the most gorgeous view from your door!
It looks so relaxing and peaceful there with that wonderful view. Beautiful sunrise photos…I think the third one is my fav!
How beautiful!
You get a lot of great photos in 2 minutes!
Wow, that is crazy how fast time goes. But what a beautiful image to wake-up to!
Just brilliant. Bshell
So beautiful… I love that your have so much water in your ‘front yard’ is that the ocean, bay or lake?
Sunrise is a magical time.

I love taking the sunrise shots from my VA property too.
it’s a beautiful thing to wake up to!
I like the narrative, too, because this just seems like a “sleepy” sunrise to me… Serene, once again ..
Happy Saturday! I just nominated you for the Sunshine Blogger Award! Here is the link to my post:
