This is the sunrise from June 7.
I thought the sun appeared to be playing peek-a-boo through the trees in this picture.
And no matter how many sunrises I see, there’s just something special about the sun clearing the horizon (or in this case, clearing the treeline).
Lovely….I agree about that moment when the sun pops into view….kind of like finding the prize in the cracker jack box!

Every sunrise is a surprise….and you always capture the most beautiful ones!
And that still-as-glass water gets me every time! Beautiful!
Man-O-Man, I just love your view shed 🙂 someday, I’ll have a more watery view…until then, thanks so much for sharing. Simply beautiful.

Very pretty Dianna! I don’t get to see the sun come up here on the Tiny Ten, too many trees. If we don’t get some rain that may change. But I love seeing your sunrises and sunsets.
every one of your shots is beautiful.
The day truly begins when the sun just clears the horizon!
Every sunrise is a beautiful thing – and when you get to see it from a vantage point like you have, it is extra special! Just gorgeous!
What a gift sunrises and sets are and you snap then so lovely.
I really enjoyed your watery sunrise photos. Looks like a tranquil day is beginning.
Every shot is a winner – a lovely part of the world you live in.
I used to live on Vancouver Island, right on the ocean. These shots make me quite homesick!
They are beautiful
