Last month, on our trip to Sperryville, Virginia to meet our good friends, Pam and Dave (“parents” to Sam, One Spoiled Cat), we were, as always, on the look-out for barns. As usual, I can’t remember exactly where this one is located.
Hmm….what’s this up ahead?
I do believe it’s a barn!
Check out the charming folk art cows on the side…
Tough decision: whether to use this for Barn Charm or Friday’s Fences…?
Barn Charm it is!

Oh I love the cows….the barn has seen better days but I still like it……it’s got personality!
Pam
That barn has charm! Top shot and second shot, silo looks like the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz peaking out.. 🙂 The cows are whimsical and sweet! Great barn charm! Good Morning!
That is adorable! What a charming scene.
I love how you are always looking for beauty everywhere you go!
The mural of the cows makes this doubly interesting! Good one Dianna! 🙂
Great barn and the folk art cows add to the charm. Hope the owners don’t let those delightful cows collapse with the barn!
The added touch of the folk art makes that a particularly charming barn 🙂
Love how that bright blue stands out among the drab shades around it. You are a barn magnet.
awesome find! love the silo, too!
Very charming! Great looking fence, too.
The cows are peeking out from behind the trees in the first shot! I like the silo, too – at first I thought it was connected to the barn ..
Love both…might have to repeat the bottom one for Friday’s fences cause I love the barn and the fence.
One of the best barn finds yet I think. You captured it perfectly. The painted cows are a plus!
lol That is just a good fun chuckle to see something so cheerful. We have a lot of the quilt decorated barns around here. It’s kind of neat to see the nostalgia and folkart that folks put in barn art.
That’s a honey of a barn charm too. 🙂
Love it when people “decorate” their barns. In Kentucky it’s not uncommon to see UK Basketball Wildcats on barns for the more rabid fans. More common would be the barn quilts, which you’ve seen, I’m sure.
That’s a beautiful barn and a sweet mural on the end. It looks like beautiful countryside there. Pamela in Canada
Nice barn with mural. Pretty country side too.
I love the weathered wood, the green roof, and the silo! You could link this up to both barn charm and Friday fences.
Nice one, Dianna. I had to go back and look at the silo after Theresa mentioned it. That is unique. Love the painted cows.
You find such beautiful things to take photo’s of, we can’t wait for the weather to get better so we can go searching 🙂 Have a wonderful day xx00xx

The cows are so great!
Fantastic!
