Hello, folks….Sundae, here, and I have a really tough decision to make.
You see, my pawrents put up the Christmas tree a couple of days ago. Ever since, I’ve been spending quite a bit of time under there. They haven’t decorated it yet, but when they do….
I know I’ll really, really want to play with the ornaments, (maybe even knock some of them off the tree), but I know Santa will be watching….
So, do you think I’ll be able to resist the temptation? What’s a poor kitty to do?
~These Days Of Mine~

Well Sundae, Sammy certainly can identify with your quandary…..he LOVES getting under the tree but he has fortunately passed the age of “playing with the ornaments” ! You’re just a young girl who wants to have fun so I hope your Mom doesn’t hang any ornaments WAY DOWN LOW so you can grab them. On the other hand, a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do!
Pam (with Sam’s approval)
Last year, I “zeroed” in on one particular ornament – a tiny knit stocking, which I’ve now lost. But I think Motor Mommy has more of those….!
I don’t think I’ll tell T-Bob about this. We don’t have our tree up yet and he’ll be meowing….what’s the hold up?
Sundae says she’s sending T-Bob some ESP messages about Christmas trees….!
It’s a kitty Christmas problem, Sundae. But I’m sure you’ll make the right decision!
Dear Sundae, Maybe your pawrents will hang unbreakable special ornaments on the lower branches just for you. You look so special under there, you deserve fun things to do all the way through Christmas!
a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e. i just love those green eyes!!
You look very festive under the tree Sundae!
Thanks, Miss Pix — it brings out the green in my eyes!
Love, Sundae
sundae, methinks you’re not too concerned one way or the other. 🙂
Well, you DO want to be on the nice not naughty list. Out kitty Callie, finally, after all these years has decided to leave the tree alone. It’s not worth getting into big trouble for, I guess. 😉
Hmmm do you put the ornaments up high where they can’t be reached and risk Sundae climbing up to get them? Or put them on the low branches to keep him entertained?
🙂
Be careful, Sundae; you don’t want to get any coal !
Follow your heart, Sundae. Maybe M Mommy will put something unbreakable on the lower branches.
I think she probably will, Miss Charlotte!
Love, Sundae
Maybe your Pawrents should leave the bottom few inches(about a foot) free of ornaments. That is what we used to do when we had an interested cat.
Oh, maybe there’ll be a couple of low hanging ornaments that are just perfect for kitty play! Almost as if it was planned that way! 🙂 ~ Sheila
I just bet that’s what will happen, Miss Sheila!
Love, Sundae
Sundae, this is a hard decision. I can see your problem. Maybe your pawrents will give you a break and just hang some no break ornaments on the bottom of the tree. I think that might solve everybody’s problem. Good luck!
I’m pretty sure Mom has you covered, so don’t sweat your pretty head about it, just enjoy the moments under the tree.
