It’s time for another Random Five Friday! Here’s the list for this week:
1.) We’ve had warmer than normal weather this week with a couple of foggy mornings. This picture was taken just after sunrise Sunday morning. Groom Swan was here for breakfast, and I grabbed the camera before heading out to feed him.
2.) Speaking of swans, this was the scene in our yard when I came home from the shop yesterday.
It makes me feel special that Bride Swan allows me to get so close to her, and that Groom Swan comes right up to me. They trust me. (And they know I bring food.)
3. Gypsy continues to be a little love bug. I’ve promised her a blog post of her own soon.
4.) This Christmas cactus continues to amaze me every year; it’s always full of soft, peach-colored blooms. I think the key word here is “neglect”.
5.) “Candles in the windows”, the Christmas tree is decorated, and Sundae is leaving it be…for the most part. After I set the camera up on the tripod and clicked the shutter button, she politely invited herself right into the picture.

Love your new “pencil” tree with the ribbon garland…..that’s a lovely kitty-shaped present under the tree too! I think Sundae – like Sam – will be an “under the tree” decoration. I’m glad the Bride and Groom are still around and knowing the best spot for a handout!

Oh that Gypsy — her eyes are like liquid gold. Enjoy that warmer weather, but, I have to say, that pretty tree makes me want to curl up next to it, too 😉

I enjoy Random 5 Fridays and am continuing to post them, too. I like all your “randomness,” from the foggy sunrise to your furry and feathered friends, pretty cactus flower color and tree. Which reminds me, ours is not in the house yet.

Me wishes it was warmer here! Me has NOT stuck my nose anywhere near the door! But Kozmo and that crazy cat Jo-Jo has gone out and played in the cold!!!
