Just An Old Rusty Glider

Sunday, after Donna and I finished our beachcombing, we noticed this neat old vintage glider overlooking the river.

It just begged for photos.

And we gladly obliged.

And, yes, we hammed it up a bit for the camera.

Great use of a very handy prop.

  3. I wonder if the owners appreciate their treasure as much as you do. Reminds me of the one grandma had at the store but hers was on the porch.

  4. What a leading man your MM and you, his leading lady. πŸ™‚

  5. Great photo of you and MM…looks like a scene from a movie! πŸ™‚

  6. That old glider made the picture perfect prop for every one of these photos. πŸ˜€

  7. It just cries out “sit on me and watch the moon rise over the river!” I have always loved a glider. I think we all had one growing up on our porches, and it just feels reminiscent and sweet to sit in a glider (or a porch swing). Awesome smooching picture of you and JR!

  8. a great piece of ‘rubbish’. would be a great link to rubbish tuesday. πŸ™‚

  9. Can’t tell who enjoyed ‘hamming it up’ more! Love the post.
