Are You Up To The Challenge?

Looking for a way to waste a little time exercise your brain? Yesterday, Marshall sent me the link to Einstein’s Riddle. I wasn’t familiar with it, but will say that it’s very addictive. Click on this link to play.  (Drag the “tiles” to move into place.) Can you determine who has the fish?

That brought to mind another little fun brain exercise that I learned about several years ago: the leap frog test.  This isn’t nearly as challenging as the above puzzle, but it does take a little thought. Click this link to play.

Let me know how you do on these, and if you have other fun time wasters brain exercises you’d like to suggest.

  1. Brain? What brain? Mine isn’t QUITE awake yet this morning but I’ll give these a try later once things “kick in” ! Seriously – I think these kind of things are so good for us especially as we age – keeps us sharp as a tack!

  2. Thanks! Will try them today at work! 🙂

  3. I’ll try them later IF my brain wakes up. By the time I finish, I’ll probably wish I’d stayed asleep!

  4. Now, I’ve GOT to try these. But……..if I don’t ever get anything else done, you get the CREDIT!!!!

  5. Ok…I saved these in my favorites. My brain couldn’t even comprehend the first game instructions!

  6. Yep… heading over to that page in just a few…. resisting the urge to just look up who keeps the fish !!

  7. Wait, I think my brain is frozen…yep that’s it…it’s frozen from living in the arctic temps that we’re having and trying to help 4th and 5th graders do math. Least common denominators – do you know how long it’s been since I’ve had to even begin to think about how to do fractions? (And I was an English major after all, we don’t do math.) Mercy…yes, my brain is frozen so I will have to try these on another day after it thaws out.

  8. Oh Nos! Mommy was playing that game for a hour!!!
Got any clues on how to get her to stop!

  9. I can’t wait to get home from work and give these a try. I LOVE games.

  10. Thanks for the links. My brain needs all the help it can get. 🙂

  11. Shame on you, those frogs are going to give me nightmares now.

  12. I got a couple of new apps/games recently, so I have enough brain exercise! My favorite is Red Herring, had that one for a while. My granddaughter likes moose, so when I found Moosentration matching game, I had to share it with her–then I got hooked. Doodle Find is another I learned about from the kids.
