Recently, as I walked by, something just outside our guest room window caught my eye.
It seems a squirrel had discovered this flowerpot with what’s left of a Creeping Jenny/Goldilocks plant in it.
I had wondered why the plant wasn’t doing very well.
Do you suppose he saw me at the window and decided to play ‘possum? He definitely wasn’t asleep, because just a few seconds later, he was up to his cute little antics.
This was the view yesterday. It seems our mischevious friend had a bit TOO much fun in the flowerpot.
(These pictures were taken through the window; wish I could have gotten them without the glare.)

What an adorable little guy……that flowerpot was the perfect fit !! I’m sure he didn’t intend for his little “bed” to fall over!

Looks like he found his happy place. 🙂
LOL! That was a familiar scene here this Spring! A gray squirrel rolled in all my potted impatiens and petunias and did them all in! Took me a little time to figure out who was doing it… thought it was deer. I had chicken wire around all the potted plants for awhile… very attractive. I just gave up!
Even through the window, the photos are so dang cute! Little dickens. Squirrels can be destructive but they are terribly cute I think.
Soooooooo cute! A perfect fit place for him! ❤️
Geese, deer and now squirrels. What is next? LOL
Too CUTE!!!
Your little friend put on quite a show! I love the sleeping possum pose. What a great catch with the camera. 🙂
This is a good one! – it looks like that flowerpot was the place to be !
This is cute! I’ve also had a squirrel in a flower pot on my front porch. The pot has no flowers in it, but apparently the squirrel likes something on the edge of the pot because it nibbles on it and seems to be eating. The pictures are great!
Aw, what a cutie! It looks awfully comfy in there.
Busy little fellow…cute but messy.
