Just as our weatherman predicted, yesterday was an absolutely gorgeous day: sunny skies, and temps in the upper 70’s.
The beach was calling to my friend, Bev, and me….not for swimming or sunbathing, but for a stroll by the “river shore” in search of treasures. My mom never said we were going to the beach; to her, it was always the river shore.
One part of the beach has this sweet little stream flowing down to the river.
Bev and I both found a few pieces of sea beach glass. My finds for the day included this aqua-colored bottle top and a shark’s tooth.
But, perhaps more importantly, we enjoyed some fresh air, got a little exercise and had some girlfriend time.

How wonderful that you found some treasures AND got fresh air and girl-time all in one peaceful happy afternoon!

What beautiful finds, Dianna. I especially love that lime green!
Perfect day for beach walking or river shore walking! What lovely finds on the shoreline as well.
Sounds like a perfect day!
OK – I know I’m not supposed to be envious – can I just say I am jealous – such a gorgeous day and the ‘river shore’! It doesn’t get much better than that. Beautiful treasures.
Sounds like y’all had a great time !
– always cool to see the bottle fragments like the one here …
Gorgeous day for strolling on the shore and visiting with your friend. Great finds. Love the sweet little stream. 🙂
What a wonderful outing – fair weather, a good friend, and found treasures.
You can never have to much friend time! Sounds like a good time.
Gorgeous day you had and any day near water and with a friend is a super wonderful day!
You certainly took good advantage of that beautiful day! We had a couple of nice ones too — one in the low 70’s was glorious. I subbed that day and one of my classes begged me to take them outside once we completed our work for the class period. We enjoyed the sunshine and warmth so much!!
Sounds like perfect use of a 70 degree day! Yay on the finds! You’ve gotten quite good at video.
