Windowpane Wednesday: Neighborhood Kitty

Today, as you can guess by the title, I’m sharing photos of our ‘neighborhood kitty’.

None of our neighbors that I’ve spoken with know who the owner of this kitty is…or who it owns. We see it on our street quite often, but also several blocks from our house.

Recently, it was checking out the scenery in our yard.

Of course, I had to take these pictures through a window.  This kitty isn’t really the friendly type.

I’ve named him “Lawrence’s Kitty” (LK for short), because, although he isn’t the owner, our neighbor, Lawrence, says the kitty has allowed him a brief pat on the head.

Obviously LK is owned by someone.   A few years ago , his (her?) coat was looking very scruffy and tangled. As you can see, LK is looking pretty good these days.

  1. Hope that guy has a “steady” home…….he may just be a feral someone is taking care of and isn’t much of a “lap cat” by nature. He’s handsome though!

  2. Look at those eyes – LK looks to be on a mission! Pretty gray color to that coat.

  3. LK is a handsome/pretty kitty. I’ve always liked gray cats even though I’ve never owned one. We have some kitties that visit our yard from time to time and I have no idea where they come from.

  4. He looks like he’s out trying to find some of that attention !

He must like to roam. I agree with everyone Lk is pretty/

  6. very handsome kitty! We have several strays in the neighborhood; they are good hunters and I see one regularly who will allow a pet, but will not eat. The others you cannot get close to, just a hiss and gone! I hope LK has a cozy place to curl up at night ~~ MJ
