A couple of days ago, I glanced out the window and noticed the Bride swan. Since I had already fed her and the Groom swan earlier in the day, I decided to just take pictures of her from the window.
It wasn’t long before she began to preen.
And preen.
And preen.
She stopped for a moment when a duckling swam by.
And promptly went back to preening.
She preened. I took pictures.
More preening, more pictures.
Finally, she decided that she was beautiful enough.
And I couldn’t agree more.
She??? really is beautiful…sometimes preening doesn’t add a thing. I’m just glad your Bride and Groom swan are so friendly. Some swans are very territorial and will attack humans and any animal that gets too close. Guess they know which side their “bread is buttered on”!
Must have a heavy date tonight with the groom…..or a lunch date with the girls. Women preen as much for other women as they do the guys in their lives!!
It looks like all the work was worth it…. lookin’ good!!
she’s beautiful all right, but i can’t help notice the water dance around her. spectacular.
You got some great picxtures!
Wonderful shots. Those swans know they are very lucky to have found you guys. Life couldn’t be any better.
Aint nature wonderful?
