Hello, “These Days Of Mine” readers,
You may have heard a little about me. I’m Sundae, the cat, and I’ve agreed to write an occasional post for this blog. Just to help out a little, you know. I figured it’s time I did something around here.
First I need to come up with a name for the woman of the house. You already know Motor Man. What a neat guy, huh? Let’s see, what shall I call his wife? A name that would be acceptable for a family blog…. Motor Mouth? Nah, she’d stop giving me treats if I called her that. (out loud, anyway)
Maybe you could make some suggestions. Just be nice, okay?
Today I’m writing about a game that “she” has devised. She calls it “P-Pie”. I call it annoying. It starts out with her peeping around a corner at me, and saying singing “Peeeeee-Pie…..!”
So, just to humor her, I come running. I wait til she peeps back around the corner and then I jump up to grab at her hand.
And then I bring her down.
That’ll teach her. I don’t have time for these silly games. They take away from my nap time.

LOL! I’m assuming she is declawed?? I couldn’t really imagine this being a “fun” game with my cats!! 🙂

Very cute! This is very similar to a game Ritchey plays with Bailey – 1/2 of the Bailey/Baxter team – one is a long hair, the other a short hair – but they are both yellow. Bailey is a tabby and Baxter is a Maine Coon.
How about Motor Mama? M’Lady Motor?
Motor Mama is what I was thinking too. Seems like it ought to start with an ‘M’ anyway as there is already Motor Man and Marshall!

Sundae, you are a great writer! I’m impressed with your typing skills 😉 I agree Motor Mouth is a good name – fits well with Motor Man, but let’s keep that one to ourselves until we can think of something better!
Sundae I love your game of “Peeeeee-Pie” that you play with the “Woman”! We play that game with our Izzy the Busy, but we call it “I’m Gonna Get You!”. And when she runs all humpty back like a Halloween Cat we chase her and grab her up and give her wet kisses and snuggles on her tummy. Izzy looks like you Sundae, you are pretty girls. You also have the cutest little backend Sundae. As for a name for the woman of the house, I would have to do some thinking and get to know you two better!
Love seeing Sundae. I can see she is really spoiled by someone!!!! Let’s give that person the name of Mrs. M & M……Those M’s can stand for a lots of names that’s deserving…………………..
Moms and dads can be so annoying and expect you to entertain them. The things one must do for a little snack!

I like the idea of a weekly Sundae post – very cute. I agree with Motor Mama. It has a nice rhythm to it. My kitten likes to play with me – but he’s a nipper and I don’t like getting nipped, so I try to discourage him!
I need to get a cat to assist with my blog. Do you have any relatives willing to help? I would have to give my husband as an even trade though, he’s allergic. I think Motor Mama would be better, just sayin.’ We have to keep the treats coming, right? Do you think we should change Marshall’s name, too?
My choice was Mama Mia (if Sundae is Italian) or the above…Motor Mama. Let Sundae pick!

Look who just got the internet working at 11pm!! Finally!! I had to laugh reading this post because my beloved cat Poosha who died in 2008 loved to do the same thing to get her treat!! Made me think of her. She was 16.
Sundae how about Motor Mommy or Motor Man’s Woman. You think!
