Fall Barn Charm

Last year, Motor Man, Marshall and I took a fall foliage trip to West Virginia.

The weather was perfect for a ride to the mountains, and there were many photo ops along the way.  Thankfully Motor Man doesn’t mind stopping (or making u-turns) for me to take pictures.

I can’t recall if this barn was in the western part of Virginia or in West Virginia. But she’s definitely a beauty.

Linking up to Tricia’s Barn Charm.

Just love seeing fall shots from other places. I hope you have a fall drive planned this year and get more neat shots to share with the rest of us!

  8. I love it! This one looks like it could be found in my area.

  9. You should see some of the great old barns down here in Alabama! I may have to start taking some photos to show you. There is one right in town that should be torn down, but the art students from the university go there a lot to sketch. I’ll see if the owners will let me on the property one day to photograph it. I love old barns. If I could do a dream wedding redo, I would want to have a barn wedding or the reception in the barn. Just love em!

  10. love the build into the hillside! 🙂

  16. Now that’s a really nice barn!! I wonder what it’s used for? Milking, beef cattle, hay?

  17. Love the picture! Of course, I love to see barns too. There are lots of them here in my neck of the woods!

What beautiful and wonderful setting and pic.

  20. What a classic barn. We were hiking all day Saturday in West Virginia. We live not too far from the WVA line…it was so nice to leave VA for a day and see some other scenic places not too terribly far from home. genie

  21. Leaning into the hill, or the hill leaning into it. Lovely.

  22. It’s a beautiful barn and setting!

  23. That is a nice barn. You’re making me homesick, Dianna. My hubby needs a lesson from Motor Man on catering to a photographer! lol

  24. A lovely barn in a lovely setting. Thanks for sharing.
