This is Sundae, your roving reporter, coming to you today from various and sundry locations here in our home.
Since it was a rainy, cool weekend here, perfect for napping, I thought I’d show you some of my favorite sleeping spots.
On a sunny day, it’s nice and warm on my window seat early in the morning. Not this weekend.
This is the lower portion of a wardrobe that Motor Man made into a tv cabinet. I catch the mid-morning sun here. On a sunny day. Not this weekend.
Since I couldn’t find the sun anywhere this weekend, I had to opt for cozier napping locations. Motor Mommy and Motor Man’s bed served that purpose just fine.
But their recliner on this soft, comfy throw is probably my favorite of all napping spots. In any kind of weather.

Good Morning Sundae! You have as many great napping spots as I have but you’re right about missing the sun….it’s been gone for a couple of days and I’m ready for it to come back! You look mighty snuggily on that recliner….today will be another “sunless” day but maybe tomorrow???

I managed a nap yesterday after arriving at my mom’s on the train…aren’t naps great! Have a wonderful Monday…hope you find the sun!
I admire Sundae’s determination to find that perfect spot — I will often settle for less when napping.

Oh, you lucky girl! No naps for me. I worked on Saturday. Then I hosted my great nephew’s 7th birthday party. Then, my stepson’s high school basketball game. Whew…I definitely need a nap.

My cats congregate in front of the woodstove in my husbands office. As the temperature climbs, they get limper and limper. and sort of melt into the floor .. they resemble flat fur pancakes.
I must say Sundae is in control of the napping department. What cute pictures her mommy took!!!!!

Sundae, you look as lazy as Stormy! She is a good napper, too. We didn’t have any sun this weekend, either, well maybe for 5 minutes. Gloomy weather means good napping weather, I say!
