Monday’s sunrise apparently coincided with low tide. Not being a sailor or fisherman, I never keep up with a tide chart. But I believe we could have easily walked to the marina Monday morning, had we so desired.
Although every sunrise is special, recently there haven’t been too many spectactular ones. So I was glad to see the color in the sky on this particular morning.
The sun is now rising in its “winter location”, so it’s more difficult for me to photograph the actual sunrise.
Yet another reason to be grateful for a sky full of color.

Really pretty shots Dianna…..I get a sense of “chill” in the air too. I think I like the first one best but it’s always hard to choose just one of a batch of your sunrise or sunset photos as a favorite!

This time of year, Ellie, our sunrise is around 7:15 or so. In the summertime, it’s about an hour earlier! But I’m an early riser. Right now, I’m WAITING for the sunrise! Thanks for your sweet comment!
The sky in all the pictures especially the last one seems to be painted with broad brush strokes.

Very beautiful! I’ll confess that I don’t see many sunrises since I’m a night owl. My hubby told me the other day that I missed a fabulous one! I told him to wake me up next time!!
