My entry for Barn Charm this week is a photo taken a few years ago by my son, Marshall.
This little barn sits just off a busy highway, but it’s hidden behind a row of trees. It’s easy to miss if you aren’t specifically looking for it. The red “wagon” you see parked under the overhang is a peanut drying trailer. Peanuts are loaded into these when they’re harvested. If necessary, the trailers are placed under huge dryers that remove moisture from the peanuts before they’re sold.
This is another one of those barns that I’ve been passing by all my life, but never really noticed until Marshall shared this photo with me.
Thanks for today’s Barn Charm, Marshall. I think your photo looks like a painting.
Linking up to Barn Charm.
