Motor Man’s Wild Horse Tours made another excursion last weekend. Friends of ours were on vacation at the Outer Banks and wanted to see the horses. We were happy to oblige.
We were too late for the sunrise, but that was okay. It was a cloudy morning, so the sun was late making its appearance.
Within a few minutes, we spotted a horse on the dunes. Look closely, do you see the second one?
I believe this one recognized Motor Man. “So, I hear you know a little something about horsepower…?”
On many of the side roads, there are permanent “mud puddles”, varying in size. All but a few of them are small enough that we can drive through them in our Jeep. But the day before our last trip, there had been heavy rain in the area, and some of the puddles resembled small ponds.
“Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful.”
And then, what we’d been waiting for: horses on the beach.
Of course, we had to have a picture with them.
Bye! See ya next time.
Unbelievably, we counted 57 horses on this trip. It’s going to be difficult to break that record.
