Happy Monday, folks! Remember me? As you can tell, I don’t get much blogging time around here. All I can say is, it’s a good thing Motor Man doesn’t write a blog, or I’d never get a chance at the computer.
Anyway, today I wanted to show you my “blankie”. You know how little children have security blankets, like Linus of the Peanuts gang? Well, who says a kitty can’t have one too?
My blankie is a thick winter “throw”, but even though it’s summertime, Motor Mommy hasn’t packed it away. She keeps it folded over the back of the recliner.
When I need a little comfort, I just tug at it with my paw until it slips down into the chair. I only do this when Motor Mommy and Motor Man aren’t at home; that’s why there aren’t any “action” shots.
Then I just snuggle down…and bask in the security.

Oh Sundae, what a beautiful blankie you have! I love fleece too – nice and warm and “secure”. I’m glad you have it to cuddle up with when your parents are away. In fact, I just bet you’re bundled up in that fleece right this minute aren’t you???!!!

Sundae your throw goes beautifully with your fur. And I think everyBODY needs a blankie. I have a blankie and I am 60 years old. It is security to me… 🙂 I use it when I am chilly and then I call it the “dress” when I wrap it around my waist over my shorts or jeans to walk around the house. Outside sometimes too cause noBODY can see me.
Another great spot; all curled up! But she was stretched out at full length on the floor for a tummy rub this morning… !
Sundae, your blanket looks like Stormy’s and is the same color, too! She loves the fuzzy blanket and also now has to share it with Peanut who likes it too! So far, they haven’t wanted to sleep on it at the same time!
