Motor Man and I were in Maryland this weekend for a boat race, and whew! just in time, found a few barns for Barn Charm posts.
We found this pretty old red charmer with the barely-hanging-on loft door. This is the rear of the barn.
Sometimes I think silos are almost as charming as the barn.
And this was the front. Apparently, the loft door on the front couldn’t hang on any longer. I think that’s it on the ground in front of the window.
And, of course, there’s the obligatory power pole.
Linking up to Barn Charm.
That’s a nice one……the green grass and trees set it off nicely I think!

I wonder if that’s a pear tree to the right of the power pole in the photo.
That’s a large barn…it’s a shame the owner couldn’t keep the doors on…it’s always sad to see something that was so important at one time no longer needed!!
Lovely picture, though it’s sad to see a barn that looks like it was well cared for until recently begin to fall apart.
laughing at the loopy loft doors. 🙂
A most excellent charming barn Dianna! The wonky loft doors of course add to the whimsical charm of the place and the silos are the last great touch!!!
Love the contrast of the red barn and the green grass. Looks so peaceful! ~ Sheila
A classic example of a hardworker from years ago … And, yep, the silo was the first thing that caught my eye !
I think this barn and silo show a lot of charm. This still looks like a barn partial in use. If you look at your second photo to the left it looks like they have a garden. I love to enlarge your pictures, you never know what other treasures you may find!
The barn by itself is beautiful, but the silos really do add a lot to the scene.
You found a great barn, and silos too. The missing and hanging doors just add to the charm.
That is a nice barn. All the well-dressed barns have silo accessorizing.
It’s beautiful, makes me laugh at all the barns you find…I’m still looking for one..LOL xx00xx
