I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to fight off this desire I have to find a kitty to adopt us.
We miss our kitty, Beezy, so much. It’s been about a year and a half since we had to have her put to sleep.
I know that life is much simpler without a pet to take care of. We’re free to go on vacation without the worry of finding a pet sitter. There’s no guilt about leaving a little furry loved one for a few days.
I certainly don’t miss cleaning the litter box. And I don’t miss having to vacuum the floors so often because of kitty fur.
Then there’s Motor Man’s mild allergy. But he’s okay with us being adopted again.
One dear friend advises me not to get another pet. Another one can’t believe I’ve waited this long. Still another one wants to go with me
when if when I to go to possibly be adopted. (Because, as any cat owner will tell you, no one owns a cat.)
When I read other blog posts about kitties, I always find myself smiling.
So feel free to comment and share your thoughts. I already know what a few of my friends will say.
Should we or shouldn’t we? It’s a tough decision.
