Toes

From time to time, I’ll post a picture that makes me smile. No matter how many times I’ve seen it in the past, it always brings a smile to my face.  Here’s another of those “smile pictures”:

Aside from this just being a cute baby picture of Marshall, the memory of the moment is what makes me smile.

My mom took this photo of Marshall and me when he was four months old. She had come to visit that day, and while we were sitting there chatting, Marshall discovered his toes.

He kept leaning over and staring at them. Every time I’d straighten him back up, he’d lean over again to look at his toes. My mom and I laughed and laughed.

I’m glad she took this picture. It brings back such happy memories of that afternoon.

  7. Beautiful smile memory! I remember that moment with my little one – she was on her back on the changing table and I was so amused I just left her on the changing table and watched as she grabbed at her toes.

  8. that is adorable! Marshall, don’t you love all these warm-fuzzies aimed in your direction?! 🙂

  9. That couch looks familiar! It looks similar to the one my grandparents used to have! Seeing that photo brought back tons of memories for me back when I would be at my grandparents home. Back in the day when the couches were real wood. I love looking at old photos especially ones of mom and dad from when they were young!
