Ham, I Am

It’s hard to believe, but the “ham” – on the right – in this picture used to be very, very shy. She never intentionally did anything to bring attention on herself. For many years, she hid her face when a camera was pointed in her direction. A complete introvert.

Most of the credit for the change goes to the other “ham” in the picture.

  8. You have a beautiful smile and spirit! I think the courage to be a little bit of a ham comes with age….you don’t care so much what people think, so you let yourself out a bit and have fun!!

  11. I enjoy seeing pictures of the two of you together, the joy and love emanate through the camera lens. What a blessing!

  12. You are way too cute to be hiding from the camera! I used to be very shy myself. Painfully so when young, but thankfully, not anymore. Love your haircut. And your hubby looks like a sweetie. Have a nice day !

  13. Well, you know: it takes time and patience to produce a really good ham .. 🙂

  14. The crystal is to reflect who you really are. Shiny, bright, and a reflection of all things good. Remember that when you look at it.

  18. Aw, you go girl! And thanks to Motor Man for bringing you out of your shell. I am the ham in my relationship for sure – my hubby is the quiet one – but slowly I am bringing him out too 🙂

  19. I like Marshall’s response …. takes a ham to know one!

  20. It’s so wonderful that Motor Man helped you find your self esteem and you are now able to enjoy a life of laughter and fun and being a ham. Motor Man must be a true treasure. 🙂

  21. It’s a great picture! I think age brings out the ham in us.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I was wondering what everyone would think about Duker-day, but he’s pretty excited. 🙂 I would love to see what Sundae has to say too!

  22. So glad for the change! You’re a lovely person!

  23. Dianna, you are so photogenic! And you look so happy! I really relate to your once-upon-a-time life as an introvert. I used to be really introverted, too. But it all changed when I began working in a super social environment and left my days as an introvert behind.

  24. That is such a great picture of you two!! Marshall has the best comment of all! It is quite obvious that creativity runs in the family!

  25. Just love the smirk on Motor Man’s face — great photo! And a wonderful testament to the terrific ways our spouse coax out our personalities and let us shine 🙂 MJ
