Sunset Sunday

There have been many beautiful sunsets in the past few weeks. Or, perhaps I should say that we’ve been at home for many beautiful sunsets in the past few weeks. This one was from April 27.

The resident waterfowl add to the scenery, as they wait for dinner.

As you know, I’m especially fond of these two.

Sun and sand. (By the way, that’s my current favorite Yankee Candle fragance: “Sun & Sand”. It smells JUST like Coppertan Suntan Lotion.)

Good night, Groom Swan. Good night, geese.

Good night, Bride Swan.

I’ll see all of you tomorrow at sunset. And I’ll bring bread.

  1. Such beautiful photos, Dianna. Have you framed any of them? They certainly are worthy of hanging on a wall!

  2. So peaceful and beautiful….it’s nice that your waterfowl friends are always there to enjoy the sunsets along with their bread treats together with you and your camera!

  3. Gorgeous clear reflection on the water and then the softer afterglow.

  4. Very pretty Dianna! The “resident waterfowl” sure are an extra treat. The picture of Bride Swan is very prettty. Dianna I have to ask you, is it always as peaceful as it looks there. We lived next to a Marina for 4 years and we had summer people for neighbors on one side of us and it was crazy making!

  5. Hope the next few days are as peaceful as these pictures are!! With some possibly bad weather heading our way, you might not see the sunset for a while…but I’ll bet your feathered friends will be there for their hand-out—oops, bread treats!

  6. Ah…. would it be ok if I pulled up a chair and just sat there a while?
