Barn Charm

My photos for Barn Charm this week were taken somewhere between Smithfield and Strasburg, Virginia.

Yes, I’m still finding photos to share from that trip we took almost two months ago. It’s the “trip that keeps on giving”.

I thought this was such a cute little barn. Motor Man hit the brakes as soon as we saw it.

This is the side that faces the house. I apologize for the poor quality; I don’t recall, but judging by the reflection, I must have taken this picture through the car window.

We were both impressed by the beautiful landscaping in this yard.  It’s so nice to see a homeowner taking pride in his property.

  1. Wow….that’s a beaut! I love the rock garden around it and you’re right – that’s a real sign that whoever owns this barn and this property takes an interest! Has it already been almost 2 months since the Strasburg trip??? My goodness…..time’s a-flyin’ !

  9. Charming re-purpose for an old barn. Love the “intimate” landscaping–very appropriate to keep it contained and close to the barn/house.

It’s a rustic little place in a lovely setting. Looking at that one end I wonder if it’s a studio or office for them – lovely!
