Hi, it’s Sundae, taking over Motor Mommy’s blog today for Mama Kat’s Writer’s Workshop. Today’s prompt:
5.) A day in the life of your pet…how bad do they have it?
Today, I’ll show you just how rough I really have it around here.
Some days, the lure of the afternoon sun is so great, I’m forced to lie in its warmth.
Oh, the humiliation when I’m treated like a baby!
Some days around here are SO boring.
And just what does a kitty have to do to find a comfy place to sleep?
Hmmmmm?
Oh, wait….
Now that I give it some thought, I’m a pretty lucky feline. I wish all kitties could have it this rough.

What beautiful pictures of Sundae! I love the one with you holding her like a baby – she appears to be in no pain (HAHAHA)……our pets are lucky and so are we; life is good all way ’round!

Precious! Even though technically kitties can’t smile, I think that Sundae is definitely beaming from ear to ear in the last picture.
That is one smart kitty to know how good she’s got it … My favorite? The stretched-out-in-the-sun pose 🙂

Sundae —you look so much like my cat Calico —and you live parallel lives. So tough taking those early-morning naps, followed by mid-morning naps, followed by late-morning naps —and so on, ad nauseum.

Dianna you know I love this post!!! Oh! I mean Sundae I love your post today. I think you are actually smiling there in Motor Mommy’s arms while she scritches your sweet fuzz face. Yep, life looks to be rough there but you can handle it. And yes, I wish all kitties had it as rough as you! Good job Sundae 🙂

I was just telling another blogger who wrote about her cat, that if reincarnation is real, I’m totally coming back as one of my cats. They have it made! Obviously yours does too. =)

Sweet Sundae really has it rough! Much like my kitty, Stormy. I wish my kitty would let me hold her more often. She can be a loving little critter, but only when SHE chooses! She likes to sleep next to me at night and will take her paws and pat me on the face to wake me up in the morning if she thinks I need to get up earlier to feed her! But she really doesn’t like to be picked up and held, that makes her mad. She’s strange, but we love her anyway!
Too rough … … but at least you got comfy after all that warmth, boredom and humiliation ! 😉

Callie here. Mama in the empty nest is my human, she belongs to me. I’m so glad that another beautiful calico kitty like me has a ‘rough’ life too. Why DO those humans hold us and treat us like babies? Never could understand that. If you ask me they need to give us lots more places for catnapping around the house. So nice to meet you, Sundae. Until we meet again….Meow!
