During the fall and winter months, the sun sets further to the south, so we really don’t have a good viewing spot from our yard.
But our neighbor, Susie, DOES. And last night, Susie invited me over to take sunset pictures from her deck.
Another neighbor was burning leaves, so a ribbon of smoke was wafting through the air.
Thanks for the invite, Susie. You just may be seeing more of me during sunsets in the coming months.

Good neighbors are the best! This is a beautiful sunset. It was gorgeous last night, I could see some of the color above our neighbor’s privacy fence when I took seed out for the late evening ground feeders. I didn’t have a good vantage point to shoot from, or I would have grabbed the camera. Thanks for sharing what I missed. It’s just not the same without water! Thanks, Susie.
