Sunrise Saturday

When I first looked out at last Saturday’s sunrise, it was still dark enough that I needed to use the night-time options on our camera.

But it wasn’t long before there was light in the sky.

In a couple of months, the sun will be setting further to the left. That’s just one reason I love the warmer months of the year: better sunrise shots.

But til then, these will do nicely.

(Recently, my blogging friend, Adrienne at My Memory Art, shared that quote. Thanks, Adrienne, it’s perfect.)

  1. Oh I love the early shot….on the brink of sunrise is sometimes as gorgeous as it is five minutes later when the sun peeks out finally!

Beautiful sunrise. You see the sky opening up for the day.

  16. Love your morning sunsets, Dianna. That last one is really beautiful. I’m going to have to get myself to bed earlier so I can try to get some morning shots. I’m usually still too bleary-eyed at that time of morning to go outside. 😀

  17. Those pictures do VERY nicely! 🙂

  18. I never get tired of the sunrise. Best part of the day, in my opinion! ~ Sheila
