Rescue Barn Charm

This little white barn is located just a few miles from us in the little town of Rescue. I took this photo from the highway road last week. I made a mental note to bring my “long” camera lens the next time I was going in that direction so I could get a closer shot.

And this was taken a few days later with the long lens.

I really don’t know anything about this barn, other than the fact that I’ve passed by it all these many years, and obviously, it’s no longer in use.

Linking up to Barn Charm.

  1. A perfect little barn for “barn charm” – it’s charming – or at least it WAS in its’ former life! I like the way it looks like it’s either escaping from the woods or trying to disappear INTO the woods!

  2. It is being reclaimed by Mother Nature, that’s for sure! You have to love those long lenses…makes things a lot easier (at least we don’t have to physically trespass!). I love the shape of this barn – we have quite a few of that shape in the state.

  3. The forest is slowly creeping up on this pretty little barn.

  4. The design is classic! Oh, and that old whitewash look is just awesome. Glad you took along the second lense 🙂
