4.) List your top 6 favorite summer moments so far.
We’ve had several family gatherings this summer, which of course, are always special. But today, I’m focusing on some simple moments of summer.
1.) A butterfly on one of my Sweet Williams. My grandma always grew these flowers, and my mom loved butterflies.
2.) My grandmother also grew gladioli. This is a photo of one of mine, taken during sunrise.
3.) After several dry days with 90+ degree temps, rain was a welcome sight.
4.) Although every moment spent with my “babies” is special, they’re even more beautiful during golden hour.
5.) You know that seeing “my” horses on the Outer Banks would be among my favorite moments of summer.
6.) And although I love waking in time to catch the sunrise, there’s something peaceful and calming about a sunset.

Having grandson for over a month have made for a lot of memorable moments at our house.
Love all of these!! The color contrast of in the gladioli pic, I think is my favorite. To me, they all testify to the awesomeness of Gods’ magnificent creation:)
I enjoyed all of your “picks.” Mine have to include: fresh cherries, time in the pool with grandkids, suppers on the patio, fireflies (I never tire of them) and summer rains. Ahh!!

Perfect SIx! Love #1 because I love Sweet Williams! I love just saying the name.. 🙂 My favorite moments of summer… hmmm, I am not really a summer gal but my favorite moments would have to be all the birds nesting and seeing all the baby birds. And grilling outside! And sitting under the oaks!

Nice sunset! The colorful sky is the perfect backdrop for yout gladiolus. Last night’s rain made today cooler still.

Those flower photos brought back lovely memories for me. My Grandma always had Sweet Williams in her flower garden and my Mom always had glads. After seeing your pictures, I think I’m going to have to ask my gardener (hubby) to add some to our flower garden. 🙂
Your summer moments are beautiful. I love the gladioli pic, the pink really stands out and of course I love the swans.I have to say my best moment of summer so far is spending it with my Chuck. My husband and I have never had this opportunity before and we are loving it. We are very blessed to have this time together.
