Frosted Windowpanes

Although many of you are experiencing much worse weather conditions, we awoke yesterday morning to an outdoor temp of around 14 degrees. We had (and still have) frosted windowpanes.

  1. Beautiful – something to smile at even in the brutal cold. I had them at school too.

  2. They’re beautiful but I’d much rather it be 75 degrees out there instead of 14 degrees. The beauty isn’t worth this cold weather!

  3. How pretty! Frost and snowflakes are so pretty – too bad they’re also indicators of SUPER COLD – I’m SOOO ready for a day in at least the 40s!

  6. I am loving the frost on our panes – and with the sunrise in the background!!! …my blog today will bring a smile. Great minds, as they say!

  7. The beauty of frost on a window pane never ceases to captivate me. Your photos are quite enchanting. Thanks for sharing this beauty of the season.
I’m wishing for your New Years dreams to come true too.
    🙂

  8. So beautiful!
All the best for you on 2014❤️

  9. I see we were on the same wave length for Wordless Wednesday today right down to the titles! Your photos turned out very pretty!! It was -9 degrees yesterday when I got up and wind chills made it feel like -30. Not only did we have frost on the windows, but on some of them there was a 1/4 inch layer of ice all the way across the glass. Brrr. And I had an appointment so I had to go out in the frigid temps — about froze my face off!

  11. I remember growing up in PA my bedroom windows were so frosted over (a sheet of ice was more like it) I couldn’t see through them for most of the winter!
I do like your pictures. The second one looks like a frost forest!

  12. Perfectly captures the “feel” of the last couple of days!

I agree with Marshall. I must admit it is beautiful on your window panes.

  16. I haven’t seen frost on a window like that since we left West Virginia. I was always mesmerized by the beautiful patterns.
