Motor Man and I are pleased to announce that we’ve been adopted!
This little beauty reeled me in yesterday when I went to a not-so-local Humane Society in search of a kitty.
She’s three years old and is described as a dilute calico. A dilute calico has three colors with white being the dominant color. I think she has some Maine Coon cat genes too. There’s evidence of the “M” on her forehead. Did you know that if a cat has more than two colors, it’s most likely a female?
Be forewarned that there will probably be many more pictures of her to come on this blog.
I think we’ve decided on her name, but will wait a couple of days before I reveal it. In the meantime, would anyone care to venture a guess?

I won’t “guess” her name since I have inside information. Hope she settles down and enjoys being in a loving home. She’s definitely a darling kitty.

She is so cute, Diane. I have always been told that calico cats are ALL female. Is her name Lucky? Cause she is one lucky cat to have adopted you and Junior.

Acccckkkkk! She is so dang sweet and cute! That nose, those eyes, her fuzz face mouth. Sigh. I couldn’t even begin to guess on a name. I am just so happy she adopted you. Your house is now officially a home again with a cat in residence. Congrats and give her a scritch for me!

She’s a beauty and looks like a Miss Maisey to me. I think what’s really interesting is that she also looks part tabby with the stripes on her face and legs. I’m glad she found her home with you!

I met her this morning, and she’s reeeeeaaal friendly! I also have inside info, so no name guesses from me ! I can see many, many pics of her on the way!!

She’s really very pretty! My calico cats always end up with the name Callie. Not very original for sure.
