Remember a couple of weeks ago when I posted that I could honestly say I’d just recently seen my very favorite sunset?

Well, now I’m not so sure. The one last Sunday might be my favorite too. Can’t I have two? They could be co-favorites.

The neighborhood waterfowl were there.

Our neighbors have a tiny patch of  “beach” in front of their house. Their grandchildren were out feeding the swan, seagulls and ducks. And skimming rocks on the water. I love the reflection of the sunset on her hair.

I knew my previous “favorite” sunset was in jeopardy when I saw this picture.

Yes, for the time being, I definitely have two favorite sunsets.

I just love the light you captured in them all and I especially like the one of the bird in flight.
Looking forward to the day when we start having nice sunrises and sunsets again…our agreeable weather has been lacking!

  14. Beautiful photos! I’m missing Florida right about now… always had nice sunsets growing up… not so much here.
You should write a book… you could have your characters live out by the lake.. sunsets.. cruises on the lake… I see a Nicholas Sparks type book emerging… all centered around your sunsets and lake! 🙂 I can see the movie in my head too 🙂 You should go for it!
