This man surprised three sweet little elderly ladies (whom we’d never met) by paying for their ice cream Saturday night at Dairy Queen.
It made their day.
It made me cry.

and that is just typical JR….!!
I was out to dinner with a neighbor a few months ago at a chinese buffet. There were two little old women sitting at the booth across from us and as we left my neighbor picked up their check on the way past their table, took it to the front and paid it along with ours. I know what you mean when you say it made you cry. I was so touched by the kindness of this big burly man. Nice to know there are such men in the world.
What a gracious man! You both seem to share that “connecting” spirit.
That is so sweet! I need to make a mental note to do little things like that once in awhile. Hopefully the little old ladies pay it forward 🙂
