Sunrise Saturday

Yesterday morning, I awoke around 5:30, and was out of bed just a few minutes later. It was one of those mornings that I was glad to be awake in time for the sunrise. Or in this case, dawn.

The water was so smooth, every cloud, every bit of color was reflected.

Even the area of the sky not directly affected by the sunrise was putting on a show.

When I see a sunrise this beautiful, I think of all the pretty ones I miss when I sleep in.

Early morning is such a quiet, peaceful time in our little corner of the world.

Sunrise: what a wonderful way to begin the day.
