My blogging friend, Patti, who writes A New Day Dawns, recently asked me if I’d like to participate in Blog Hop Around The World. I’m required to answer four questions, then (with their prior consent) nominate three blogging friends to answer the same questions next Monday. Here are the questions and my responses:
How does my creating process work?
As far as creating my blog posts, I usually just sit down at the computer the night before, look through my recent photos, and select a subject. Some nights, it’s more difficult than others. In nearly four years of blogging, I’ve only published one post without a photo. That explains why I rarely go anywhere without the camera.
How does my work differ from others of its genre?
Some blogs are themed: they’re about a specific subject, such as cooking or gardening or writing. Mine could almost be a photography blog, just because so many posts are based on a photo or photos. But I usually just really write about what’s going on in my life right now.
What am I working on?
In addition to blogging every week day, I’m also a rubber stamper and make (almost) all my greeting cards. (I do admit to “cheating” once in awhile and sending a store-bought one. Shhhh…)
Why do I create what I do?
Blogging allows me to share my photos and my thoughts. I don’t have a huge following, but the comments left by my readers are so complimentary, they encourage me to continue sharing.
Now, as to the three blogging friends that I was supposed to choose to participate in the blog hop: among my friends that I thought might be interested in doing this, only two were able to play along at this time. They are:
