Today is an important day for Gypsy, our shop kitty. Of course, she doesn’t know it yet, but bright and early this morning, we’ll be taking her to the vet for her girl-kitty surgery.
She’s approximately four months old now and weighs almost five pounds. These pictures will give you an idea of how much she’s grown in the last couple of months. The first one was taken August 23, four days after she found us.
This was taken yesterday.
It’s going to be a long day at the office today without her. I don’t know who’ll miss her more, Motor Man….
…or me.
We should be able to pick her up between 4:30 and 5:30. We’ll be watching the clock…

My how she’s grown! I know you’ll be happy to pick her up and get her back to her familiar shop office home – with lots of hugs from her Motor Man and Mom!!
Pam and Sam
She did fine, Pam (and Sam). She was a little pokey when we picked her up, but perked up when we got her back to familiar surroundings!
It’s good to hear that the surgery went well for Gypsy. She sounds like a really special kitten.
She’s so lucky to have found you two for her fur-ever family! 🙂 MJ
Thanks, MJ. She’s definitely stolen our hearts!
I know she’s going to be lonely tonight when y’all go home. Wouldn’t surprise me if you and Motor Man camp out at the shop tonight!
Darn, she is just sooooooooooo cute!

So much love and so cute. This just might be a slow day for all of you. Cuddly Gypsy will be back soon.
Oh, my! Will she be going home with you tonight or will you spend the night at the shop LOL
She is so cute! She will be a happy cat not having all those girl kitty hormones!! Wishing for her to recuperate quickly!!!
I’d never thought about kitty hormones, but you’re probably right, Pix!
Wishing Gypsy a quick smooth recovery. She is so adorable and it’s obvious how you both love her.
Thanks, Dor. She came through the surgery fine. Everyone at the vet’s office was commenting about how sweet she is!
Take care everybody.
Thanks, Georgette!
Goodness, Gypsy has really grown up fast! Must be all that lovin’ she’s getting!
She’ll be fine. She may not enjoy going to the vet ever again but I’m sure she’ll bounce back in a hurry. Cats are invincible!
oh, she’s just adorable! hope she does well!
Thanks, Tex. She did fine!
Just said a prayer for my furry cousin’s surgery this morning. God will look out for her, because He knows how much our four-pawed relatives mean to us.
I know she’s happy there, and she’s made a lot of new friends at the shop !
Aw! Jo-Jo had hers last week and it did not slow her down one bit.
Gypsy was a little slow when we picked her up, but she was sure happy to get “home”!
She is a growing girl! Gypsy will be fine once everything is over today. i am sure she will need her pawents love.afterward. 🙂
awww what a sweetie, so happy to read the comments and know she did I well!!
Thanks, Debbie. We’re hoping she has a good night!
Kids – they grow so fast! Glad surgery went well.
My cats know when I am going to take them to the Vet and it is very difficult to find them. They hide under the furniture or wherever they think I can’t find them. I don’t know how they know….but they always know in advance.
